What Causes Red Spots On Upper Arms?

Question: What are these red spots on my upper arms? They are not itchy and have been there for at least a couple or few months.

I have gone through your query and I have also seen the photograph.

These spots look like freckles to me; freckles are XXXXXXX or brown colored spots on sun exposed sites like face, arms etc.

Do you have them elsewhere? on Face?on the other arm as well?

These spots are red. I have knly noticed th ony upper arms.

Hi.

A freckle is flat and can be light brown/tan or red in color. They usually occur in fair skin individuals on sun exposed sites like outer arms, face.
Freckles fade with reduction of sun exposure. Therefore, I would suggest you to use either a broad spectrum sunscreen Or sleeved clothing, whenever out in the sun.
