Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having redness of eye and increased blinking of right eye after working for long time infront of computer.
This is probably because of dryness of eyes as told by your doctor. This is common in people who use computer or laptop for long continuous hours. This is called as computer vision syndrome.
The treatment is mainly by the use of artificial tear eye drops. I usually prefer to treat this condition by the use of preservative free artificial tears eye drops like refresh tears eye drops.
Along with the medical treatment the following precautions are important to prevent recurrence of the condition.
The precautions need to be taken are
Avoid continuous use of computers or laptop by taking frequent breaks in between, a break of about 5 minutes is sufficient after working for 2 continuous hours.
Washing the eyes frequently with normal water.
Use of antiglare coated computer or laptop screens or antiglare coated glasses will be of help.
Avoid the use of air conditioner and fan if possible as these will further increase the dryness.
Position the computer or laptop screen slightly below the eye level as this prevents complete exposure to the computer or laptop screen.
Please do mention the eye drops you were prescribed last month so that I can answer your question more accurately.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
With regards

Thank you for the follow up question.
Lacrimos is a artificial tear eye drop and it can be used. If the symptoms persist you can go for preservative free artificial tear eye drops like Refresh tears.
If the symptoms persist do write back to me and send a photo of the eye if possible.
