Brief Answer:
Could be a yeast infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for using Healthcare Magic. Redness and itchiness of the vagina suggest an infection, most likely yeast. Other infections such as Trichomonas can also cause inflammation and itch, as can an allergic reaction. Discharge often occurs with yeast and other infections, but not always, so lack of discharge does not rule out a yeast.

Your best bet is to get a vaginal exam by a doctor and be checked for these possibilities as well as other conditions. You might also have an abscess or some other lesion that requires treatment. Without knowing specifically what is causing your symptoms, a recommendation for treatment cannot be made.

So get in to see your doctor and get this looked at and treated appropriately. Hope this answers your query. If you have further questions, I would be happy to answer them.
