What Causes Redness And Stinging Sensation On Face And Hands?
Question: My daughter came this morning. Her face and hands were bright red and stinging. She could not breathe. I have calmed her down, but she is still shaking. She has a wet cold clot on her face. I was going to call an ambulance, but I took her outside and calmed her down. I am not sure what happened to her. She is putting that cancer cream on a pre-cancer on her nose........no other meds. New make-up last week, but it was fine until this morning.
Thank you. She feels better. She literally could not breathe. Scary, but she has calmed down. Thank you so much.
Just to let you know, she is shaking and continues to shake. No fever. The pain in her face and hands is gone. She is freezing. The flu?

Brief Answer:
It is possible.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
It is probably that chills may be caused by anxiety, however, body temperature should be measured later on ( every hour for example ), because the temperature may rise after chills.
If there will be fever an infection ( urinary infection, common flu etc.) should be considered and evaluated.
In this case there is need to consult the your daughter's primary care Doctor.
Hope I helped you
Wishing good health.
