What Causes Redness, Itching And Burning Sensation In The Glans Of Penis?
Question: My penis glans is red and itches and burns. Hard to pull the foreskin over without discomfort. This has been on going for three weeks. Do I have an infection somewhere that causes this or is it a localized infection?
Brief Answer:
Probably an infection underneath the foreskin!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this difficulty you have reported. From the information you have reported, it suggests that there is an underlying inflammation which prevents smooth movement of this foreskin over the glans. I will suggest that you get it evaluated to pinpoint the cause and treat accordingly. This is most likely a localized infection at this area.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
