What Causes Redness On The Tongue?
Question: What is causing a redness all around the edges of my tongue? At times it is bright red, looking very inflamed and hurts as if it has been burned. Other times it is less painful and only slightly darker than normal. It does not spread to the middle of my tongue but occurs on a daily basis. I have tried changing toothpaste and mouthwash but that makes no difference. I have not changed or added medications recently.
