What Causes Redness On Tongue Following Viral Infection?

Its commonly associated with viral infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
Such changes are commonly seen in tongue following viral infection. If there is no associated high grade fever and symptomatically you are felling better than there is no cause for concern. Associated vitamin deficiency could predispose to the changes of tongue.
I would suggest you the following
1. Warm Saline Gargling: Add 2 spoons of salt to glass of lukewarm water and gargle 3-4 times a day
2. Antihistamine like Cetrizine
3. Decoction: 1 cup of milk+ 1 teaspoon turmeric+ 2 gm of ginger+ 10 leaves of tulsi(Holy basel)+ 2 black pepper+ 2 spoon sugar, bring it to boil. Serve it hot to her, few sips at a time. To take it 4 times a day.
4. Steam inhalation for 15 minutes every session 4 times a day
5. Oral Multivitamin supplant
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Wishing you happy and healthy life

It is occasionally seen
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
It is a finding which we occasionally see during pharyngitis. There is nothing to be worried about. If the lesion still persists then candidiasis has to be considered.
