What Causes Redness Underneath Breast?
Question: I am. 62 year old woman . I had a mammogram and ultra sound 15 months ago I have suddenly noticed I pink are on my breast and a barker red band alonost bruising underneath the breast where the wired bra band would go and out ward from there to under the arm I have just changed bras to a smaller narrower size in the last few days. I had an ESR for somethng else( arthritis ) last week and it was normal ! I am worried sick in case I have inflammatory Breast cancer. What do you think

I understand your concerns. But this type of sudden appearance of redness or bruising is more suggestive of mastitis. Sometimes pain is not predominant.
A course of antibiotics is appropriate. You can also get an ultrasound done for peace of mind.
