What Causes Reduced Fetal Movements During 32nd Week Of Pregnancy?
Question: Hi doctor I just wanted to ask something I'm nearly 32 weeks pregnant about 31+3 and I do feel the baby like very slight movements not as much as it used to be before like when I put my hand on my tummy I feel slight movement is that normal?
Brief Answer:
Consult an OBGYN
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Decreased movements of the fetus can be due to decreased food intake , fetal sleeping, or due to decreased oxygen supply to the fetus.
In this scenario, an ultrasound and biophysical profile should be done urgently.
If anything is abnormal, then non stress test should be done and further treatment should be done accordingly.
I will suggest you consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
