What Causes Regular Discomfort At Anus?

default
Posted on Thu, 20 Aug 2015
Question: Hi Doctor
I have been having regular discomfort at anus since last couple of months though on and off during day. I have no history of constipation and even during the last few months my motion has been regular. Couple of times I could see some blood drops coming from anus, so sensing something wrong I visited a surgeon who prescribed the following:
1. Dilgel cream twice a day, morning and evening
2. Laxiwal syrup
3. High fibre diet
4. Squat in hot tub for 5-10 mins, twice daily.

This was to be continued for few days.

I did not take Laxiwal syrup as I did not feel I was constipated at any day, followed the rest for a week. But the discomfort continues.

Any suggestions/advise?

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Possible hemorrhoids.Need PR examination.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern

Your symptoms possibly reflect underlying hemorrhoids or anal fissures.

Hence symptoms are not completely resolving.

For appropriate treatment,I advise you to get a Per rectal examination.

For this you need to consult an expert surgeon.

Further management is based on the test results.

Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.
