In view of fever and ear discharge you need to get brain imaging either contrast enhanced CT or MRI.
Visit to a neurologist for examination is advised.

In view of unilateral swelling over face you need to visit a neurologist for headache, fever and facial swelling.
Possibility of cavernous sinus thrombosis may be there in view of ear discharge and above mentioned symptoms.
