What Causes Regular Nausea?
Question: Only one symptom, nauseous every day
Brief Answer:
May require investigation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Nausea is not a diagnostic symptom of any particular disease. It can occur in several conditions. It may be related to an inflammation of the stomach, liver or kidney. It can also occur with diseases of the brain also.
Take an antacid like gaviscon and see how you feel. If it relieves the nausea, it may be related to gastritis. If not it would be better to see a doctor, have yourself examined and investigated.

I have been taking Prilosec daily as prescribed. Does that alter your response?
Brief Answer:
May be helpful to look into the other common causes
Detailed Answer:
Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor and is used for gastritis and peptic ulceration.
If it has not helped, it may be helpful to look into the other causes, especially the inflammation of the liver or impairment of kidney function.
