What Causes Restlessness Inspite Of Being On A Implantable Cardioverter-defibrillator?
Question: I am female and will soon be 57. Suffered CHF in 2012. Evaluated for heart transplant. Have ICD. Haven't felt well today, starting this morning with the feeling I was going to pass out while shopping. Came home and tried to lie down. Unable to rest and feeling nausea. Thought i might be hungry, so I ate lunch. Feeling of breathlessness and tingling in my arm. Hiccups. Blood pressure ok (100/65), HR from 85-115. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
needs a cardiologist - 2 possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I think that the implant needs to be checked.
sometimes they do run out of battery fast.
I suggest that you meet the cardiologist to check it out as soon as possible.
also , the blood pressure you mentioned is on the lower side. I usually suggest a blood pressure of at least 120. So your doses will need modifications as per my opinion. So I would suggest that you talk about the blood pressure also with the cardiologist.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
