What Causes Right-sided Numbness In The Face?
Get examined and evaluated by a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Facial numbness may he due to trigeminal nerve involvement.
Is there any facial pain, current like sensation which aggravates on touching, washing face, eating?
Any hearing loss, ear discharge, skin lesions over face?
Any other complains like speech change, facial deviation, deglutination problems?
Possibility of trigeminal neuralgia or neuropathy should be evaluated.
Visit to a neurologist will help in examination and localizing the pathology.
Brain mri may be done after consulting neurologist.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. The answer to all of the questions is no, except my face still had a slight droop by mouth on right side I forgot to mention in my initial inquiry. My doctor said it was still there (I saw him five days after the symptoms started). Told him I've noticed slight droop on right side of mouth a few times in recent months (no numbness).
I'll request a referral to a neurologist.
