What Causes Ringing In Right Ear?

Question: Can no longer remain in denial about the constant ringing in my right ear. It doesn't sound like ringing exactly, more like a steam leak. Any ideas?
Brief Answer:
Tinnitus
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing ringing in your ears. This sound is called tinnitus. It is from ear damage, either loud noises or explosions. It is very frequent and found in men more than women. There is nothing medically that can be done to correct this problem. The treatment is to use white noise to distract your brain from listening to the ringing and listen to the white noise.
In summary
1. Tinnitus
2. Ear damage
3. No medical treatment
4. White noise to distract brain
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
