What Causes Rough Patch On The Scrotum?
Question: Hi, I have a rough patch on my scrotum that is worrying me. I noticed a couple of days ago a little pain in this area and just now I’ve noticed the rough, scaly look. There is also a bump beside it that looks like a pimple but not really. Do I have herpes?

I have gone through your query and I have viewed the image.
I can see a dry, scaly patch and a pus filled bump near to it. It doesn't look like classical genital herpes at present. I would keep a possibility of a resolving skin and sift tissue infection.
I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g Amoxicilln or Cephalexin, thrice daily for a week.
Topically you may use an antibacterial oint e.g Neosporin or Mupirocin oint. Apply it twice daily.
