What Causes Round Pimple Like Rashes On The Back?

Question: My son has a few spots on his back. Some have a round rash around them & others are pimply.

Started off with one spot yesterday then today he has about 7.

Perhaps he has chicken pox which is characterized by an eruption of papules and fluid filled vesicles on an erythematous base. The lesions usually appear in crops. How is it today? Are there any new lesions? Does he has any symptoms like itching? Burning? Fever etc.
