Question: I have an almost constant watery running nose. At night I am awakened by a very dry nose and mouth with a very strong offensive odor in my nose and mouth

I have reviewed your information fully. This could be suggestive of a possible infection ongoing in the nose. This is often the case as pus coming from it would have an offensive odor.

I suggest you flush the nostrils 6times daily with normal saline. This will help evacuate any stagnant offensive secretions and help with the healing. If there is pain or this persists beyond a week, I will suggest that you get the nose examined. This can be done by any doctor to see what exactly is going on.
