What Causes Salty Taste In Mouth?
Question: I have a salty taste in my mouth and when I cough , I taste salt. My lips are salt too.

Hello,
The salty taste could be because of the nasal discharge and acid reflux from stomach.
So you should take care of the acid reflux from stomach,as acid brash can cause taste alteration.whether you have heartburn or acidity or not you should take domperidom tablet after consulting your doctor.As many people never feel the acidity but they have it.
You should get done ENT consultation for nasal disease--you might require nasal steroid sprays and saline sprays.
This treatment will help in improving cough also.
You continue with zyrtec but need to take nasal sprays in addition.
