Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your query and understand your concerns.
Just this description of sclerotic brain lesion doesn't help too much in narrowing the most probable nature of the lesion.
It is important for me to know how this lesion was found, if you have neurologic symptoms or not, what imaging studies were done and the exact location.
There are several causes of brain sclerotic lesions, most worrisome are brain metastases from other organs such bones, lungs etc.
Other possibilities include calcification of a Meningioma, enlogation of benign osteoma of the skull and rarely lesion of white matter related to multiple sclerosis.
You can upload or write down the radiology report here, in order to understand better the nature of the lesion.
Awaiting for more information....,

Welcome back.
It is very unlikely that a sclerotic brain lesion to be caused by head injury, but it is not excluded as a possibility a 100 %.
Again, there is need for imaging studies results or views, in order to have a correct opinion about the nature of the lesion.
Take care.

Welcome back.
Amyloid beta is associated with Alzheimer disease, so, if there is strong evidence about Alzheimer's, then accumulated amyloid beta is one possible explanation.
However, imaging results are of paramount importance in your case.
Waiting for the results.
