Wavy lines in vision can be due to age related macular degenration which is chronic eye problem and leading cause of blindness in developed world the macula of retina deteriorates with age there are two types dry and wet but dry is more common in which retina becomes thin and breaks down in wet vessels start to leak out fluid, cause of macular degenration is not known
Other symotoms are difficulty in adapting to change in light sensitivity
Haziness blurring and blind spots
Ocular migrain can also give symtom of wavy eyes other symtoms with it are sensitivity to light flashes of light etc

Detailed eye exam is required with split lamp. Please fix an appointment with an ophthalmologist in this regard.
