I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

This usually happens in some sort of infections like fungal ones or some defficiencies like vit C deffiecieny or some mineral definitency I would suggest you to see your paediatrician ASAP to determine the cause.

I would rather not suggest you to start any medication in such yound child without a proper checkup or diagnosis but apparently this looks like some defficiency which can be compensated using special formula food products there is nothing to panic.
