Brief Answer:
go to Emergency

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There are many things that are quite serious that can go on in the abdominal area. If the pain is severe you should go to emergency now.
The longer you wait, the worse the outcome if it turns out to be something serious. Some causes of severe abdominal pain can require surgery to correct. For example if you have appendicitis it requires surgery to remove it, but it is much better to get it done before it bursts and causes a serious infection in the entire abdomen. If you have a blockage or piece of bowel that is not getting enough blood flow then getting to the hospital early may even save you from having a surgery.
Do not delay get to the hospital as soon as possible

Dr. Robinson
