What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramping After Eating?

Possibly a case of food poisoning.
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
Even though your abdomen needs to be clinically examined along with related investigations to reach at the nearest diagnosis, the history of eating frozen food prior to it points the diagnosis towards a possible food poisoning or a severe reaction to a food which one is intolerant to (in case of your wife).
If I were your doctor, after a through clinical assessment I would go for some investigations like a complete blood count, blood sugar, s lipid profile, blood urea and serum creatinine, s uric acid, and a urine routine /microscopic, stool microscopic and culture/sensitivity followed by an ultrasound of the abdomen if need be. For all these, I feel that you should visit yoru nearest ER so as to avoid any delayed complications.
Till then, you could go for an anti spasmodic along with a proton pump inbibitor drug for a symptomatic treatment.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
