Brief Answer:
Stomach pain possible compression fracture

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care question

I see you fell 2 days ago and contacted HCM. The prior doctors felt you may have a fracture of your hip or pelvis. It sounds like you did see your provider and they did not find a fracture but you continue to have severe abdominal pain.

From your description the abdominal pain maybe due to a compression fracture of your vertebral spine. With the type of fall you describe the chance for a fractured hip or pelvis is high but also a compression fracture of the lumbar or thoracic spine. This type of fracture could cause pain in the back but also cause referred pain to the stomach. I would recommend that you go back to your doctor and have them do some back x rays to determine if the pain is from a vertebral compression fracture.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact us again with any of your health care concerns or questions
