What Causes Severe Back Pain In A Diabetic While On Tramadol And Valium?
Question: I had a urine test that showed blood in my urine. I have been having severe back pain for several weeks and have been given Tramadol, Valium and Flexiril with no relief. I am a diabetic and have been for several years.

You should do further testing to rule out possible kidney disorders. So you should do CT urography and abdominal CT scan to evaluate pancreas which can be cause of your back pain. Most common we see kidney stones ot pyelonephritis but also, some spine osteoarthritis or muscular pain may be considered. If pain is persistant even after talking tramadol then this is definitely something that should be checked more extensively.
