What Causes Severe Backache With High Body Temprature And Fatigue After Taking Ipill?

Question: i am married. I had my last period starting on 6th April. around the 5th day or so i had taken 3 i pills, as me any my husband did not use any protection. and i ended up taking 3 i-pills for consecutively 3 days. i have 28 days cycle normally. i had mood swings. i am currently having severe backache which i normally get before periods and gets over as the periods get over. i had spotting around 3rd of may but did not get my periods. i did a pregnancy test, and it is negative, my backache is increasing with the days, i can feel that my body temperature increases at times, i don''t have energy to even continue with my workouts,in the mornings i feel too exhausted which i usually never felt before. there is a white discharge, little more than usual. i did my hemoglobin test and it is 11.2, i weight 78 kgs

Looking at your history and chronology of events, this irregularity in periods is due to the heavy dose of ipill you took in April. It is common to have deranged periods after taking even a single dose of ipill.

In the current circumstances, I would order for a pelvic ultrasound test to rule out tubal ectopic pregnancy and if found in ultrasound has to be tackled as soon as possible. But if ultrasound is clear wait for your periods to come and the normal pattern of periods will commence soon.

Try to avoid ipill every time you indulge in unprotected sex; because it increases the chance of ectopic pregnancy.
Rather shift to some regular method of contraception to enjoy an anxiety free sexual life.
