Question: I am Xarelto blood thinner. My gum has been bleeding since 2 am this morning. Will not stop bleeding. Blood will not clot. This has happened twice already this past week.

Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
There is no antidote for Xarelto and you have to wait for the bleeding to stop. You can try applying ice to the bleeding site in the hope that the vasoconstriction produced would decrease the blood flow and reduce / stop the bleeding.
Since you are having this problem frequently, it would be good to discuss with your doctor about reducing the dose or changing to a more traditional anti coagulant like warfarin.
