What Causes Severe Burning Sensation Under The Feet?

I am XXXXXXX male 23. I have a problem where I feel a strong burning sensation under my feet. It is sometimes too strong that i need to wash my feet in a gap of every 10 min to get out of it. They don't me sleep sometimes. This 'burning' feeling is low during winter but now it has increased. I have always turned a blind eye to it but now it started becoming unbearable.
Please suggest if some kind of vitamin deficiency that is the reason behind this burning sense.
Also suggest me any medication or a particular routine that i need to follow.
PS: my mother also have the same problem (Is this hereditary)??
Rule out causes of burning feet, go for certain blood tests
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic,
I have gone through your complaints and understand your concern.
Burning sensation under the feet can be due to multiple causes like vitamin deficiency, diabetes, liver and kidney diseases, alcohol intake, certain medicines, thyroid disorders and rarely due to hereditary causes.
I would recommend you to get your basic investigations to rule out any underlying abnormality.
These are fasting blood sugar levels, thyroid function tests, kidney and liver function tests, serum vitamin B12 levels and complete blood counts.
Meanwhile, I would recommend you to take supplements containing vitamin B12 like tablet Me12 OD once daily and tablet Gabapentine 300 mg once daily at bedtime.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
