Hi,

Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:

1. I presume, your symptoms are of short duration.
2. Your symptoms are currently suggestive of lower respiratory tract infection / acute bronchitis.
3. Is this such first episode or do you have recurrent episodes of such symptoms? Any previous illness in the past? Do you smoke?Is there associated cold?
4. Investigations required would be chest Xray, sputum examination and blood counts.
5. Based on your evaluation findings, you may require a short course of antibiotics / bronchodilator / inhalers.
6. Thus you need to get yourself clinically evaluated by a Physician / Pulmonologist at the earliest.
