I am sure what trigered it but i have isolated perfumes , fresheners and any soap or disinfectant with perfumes in them still no help. Most of the day am indoors as my work makes me sit behind a table most of the time.
Investigations are required.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the follow up info. After going through the info, I would like to comment the following:
1. If you are sure of the allergic trigger of the cough, then you need to get yourself investigated.
2. Considering your short duration history, you need to continue the antibiotics keeping the possibility of lower respiratory tract infection.
3. Anti allergic medications may be of help (eg. leukotriene inhibitor + antihistaminic) along with antacid medications. Any medication needs to be taken only after clinical evaluation and consultation with your doctor.
4. Investigations that may be required are Chest xray, sputum examination, Peripheral smear, absolute eosinophil counts, serum IgE levels, Spirometry.
5. Meanwhile avoid all inhalational allergy triggers, cold food / drinks , spicy food.
6. You should get yourself evaluated by a Pulmonologist at the earliest.
I will be glad to answer follow up queries if any. Please accept my answer if you have no follow up queries.
