What Causes Severe Cramps In Fingers, Toes And Chest?
You are likely having deficiency of calcium and salt
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. You are likely having deficiency of calcium and salt. It is very common in heart patients as you are having salt restricted diet. I would recommend you to follow these steps.
1. Whenever you have cramps drink juices with one spoon salt. It will improve.
2.Please check your vitamin D3 and B 12 level.
3. If these are low you need to take calcium and D 3 daily. Tablet Methylcobal will improve your B 12 level.
4. You should also need to stop smoking if you do.
5. Atorva causes muscle weakness, Discuss with your doctor if you can stop it.
I hope your cramps will stop after following these steps. It is not a serious issue. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
after breakfast and again after dinner.
2. I also take one tablet each of Becosule and Neurobion daily.
3. My intake of salt is also normal.
4. My intake of water is also fairly good - about 2 to 3 litres per day.
5. I will try out the remedy of fruit juice with one spoon of salt.
After reviewing the above, are there any further remedies as I am unable to sleep at night due to frequent cramps for which I have to get up from bed and walk around for some time.
Thanks
