Question: Have been baiting rats in hen house with shop bought poison over last week. On two occasions, second 4.30 yesterday.
Two days ago I trapped two babies in a rat trap which I still have as don't know what to do with them
At midnight I started with severe diarrhoea and then at 3 projectile vomiting. This has been happening a very 2 hours or so through the nighti ate with my family last night, no one else is ill
Although I haven't touched the poison directly or the baby rats, do you think it is all connected?
I don't actually feel unwell. My body is just on expel mode:(((((

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Before giving you my professional opinion I would like to know the exact name of your product. Can you upload a photo of the poison box (when is printed the name and chemical formula)?

Meanwhile, I would like to say that your symptoms most likely are related to gastrointestinal viral infection (stomach flu). Only in a few cases with very toxic poisons this may be a manifestation of poisoning exposure.

This is why it's essential to know the exact name of your product.

I'm waiting for the requested data!
Meantime, wish you health!

Brief Answer:
Following advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

After reviewing the image, unfortunately there's no chemicak data on it. However, there's a contact number and Internet link wheb you may contact the producers.

My advice is to contact the producers and ask him about the product.

My advice is to do the following measures:
- Drink plenty of waters
- Stay on fresh airs
- Open windows of the room in order to eleminate toxic gases thatmay have been formed in the room.
- If the symptoms seems to get worse than you should go to ER.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Hi
After researching I find that Difenacoum is the active ingredient
As I didn't eat a block I'm thinking my symptoms are a coincidence too!
Thank you for your reassurance in the early hours though
