What Causes Severe Fever In A Child?

Give frequent small feeds, also give ondensetron for vomiting
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for asking on this platform
I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
I won't get overly worried as the fever has subsided and all the reports are also normal.
Sometimes poor digestion(due to gsstritis) may persist even after the fever subsides.
As you have said that she is tolerating two bowls of milk well, I would request you to stop after giving two bowls. Divide the feeds in small amount and try to give it more frequently. It is also commonly seen that baby may not tolerate milk particularly and vomiting is more common after large amount of fluid intake, so you may try some semisolid food instead.
Giving ondensetron an anti-emetic helps in decreasing vomiting. The usual dose of ondensetron is 5 ml in this age and it can be given 2-3 times a day depending on severity.
This is a prescription medicine so please get it prescribed by a physician.
Watch for persistence of vomiting or worsening in general condition and if it is there, consult a pediatrician immediately.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more queries.
Wishing for your baby's good health.
Regards
