What Causes Severe Headache After Donating Blood?

Question: Bad headache shortly after having blood drawn.....5 tubes.....is this normal?

1. Headache is unusual following blood drawing from the arm. However some people might develop extreme anxiety and reaction to the event.

2. The drawing of 5 tubes is minimum quantity but can cause discomfort and headache symptoms.

3. It will help to know if you are having any symptoms of disease from before and what blood tests have been asked.

4. Please inform your doctor and family about it. Inspection of the blood drawing site might be done if required.
