Brief Answer:
Spinal Headache will resolve in 7 to 10 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas, and I am here to help you. I have read your question with care and understand that you have got Post Spinal Headache following Abdominal Surgery.

Post Spinal headache is a known and recognised complication. This occurs in around 5 percent of persons undergoing abdominal and pelvic surgeries.

But the Good News is that, in most people, this will be resolved in 7 to 10 days with simple treatment as drinking 3 to 4 litres of water per day. If you cannot drink 3 litres, try to drink as much as possible.

So, please do not worry. Already three days are over. It is a matter of time before you are back to your normal routine

Hope you found the answer helpful.

If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery
