What Causes Severe Headache, High BP And Loss Of Balance While Standing?

Question: On two consecutive nights I had severe headache and loss of balance when standing. My blood pressure the first night soared to 229/125 and the second night 215/122... Eventually BP lowered below 160 with medication. Constant mild headache for 5 days since.

It seems that the extremely high blood pressure is the cause of your problems. Proper control with medication is mandatory. High blood pressure predisposes you to stroke / cerebrovascular accidents. You need to be checked for neurological signs and symptoms. Your treating physician would be able to comment upon whether you need a CT scan of brain to be done.
