Brief Answer:
You need proper care and management.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you to my virtual clinic HCM!
I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a serious illness and really a great word used by you is horrible pain. My patients describe it as the worst headache of their life.

Treatment of TN is time taking and may span over months to years. So patients' adherence to treatment is the key to success.

Management:
Pain is the main issue to be dealt with.
I usually treat my patients with Carbamazepine and Baclofen. Most of the patients get benefits from these first line therapy agents. You should start treatment with them and follow up with the effects of the medications. When it fails in some of my patients, we have a lot more options for treatment. If medical treatment fails, Botulinum toxin subcutaneous injections help a lot of patients with failed response to medications.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you in no time. If satisfied here, please give a generous five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
For any disease you have, a timely follow-up after sometime regarding the treatment efficacy and to see any need to change the treatment options is very necessary. Keep a follow up some days after this visit session ends.
