What Causes Severe Headache While Standing And Sitting?

Question: I am a 49 year old woman who has had Addison's Disease since age 22. I also have a Chiari 1 Malformation. I often get a throbbing in my head when I stand up from sitting down, blow my nose for example, and also when I lay flat and roll over. I have been to a neurologist and have explained this and I can't seem to get an answer why this happens. it becomes quite depilating at times. Any thoughts?
Brief Answer:
It might be related to the Chiari 1 malformation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for writing in.
It is quite possible that the symptoms you are experiencing might be due to the Chiari 1 malformation.
Or it could be due to postural hypotension due to Addison's disease.
Other possibilities are migraine,or sinusitis. Have all these conditions been ruled out.
Try to avoid blowing your nose hard, as it could damage the ears.
I hope the information I provided was useful to you.
