![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Suffering from itching in upper part of thigh.
It starts with small red and later converts to dark red spot after applying "Total derm"
But then it comes up in other place.Other issue is that if anything pierces in body, even beard coming hand while sleeping, then it forms rashes and causes itching , though it vanishes after sometime. Please suggest probable cause and remedy.

Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist).
I have gone through your query and I have viewed the image.
You seem to have a fungal infection of the groins i.e tinea cruris.
I suggest you to apply a topical antifungal e.g candid -B cream, twice daily for 2 weeks. In addition i also suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g Tab. zimig 250mg once daily for 2 weeks. You may also take a tablet of cetrizine 10mg once daily in evening for symptomatic relief from itching.
