Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for your query.
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to either Scrotal dermatitis (secondary to wearing tight pants and trousers in hot dry day) or Fungal infection (Tinea).
Given the medical history that you have a dry skin, there is increase in risk factor for both.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with:
1. Application of Calamine lotion for symptomatic relief.
2. Intake of antihistamine preparations like Allegra.
3. Application of topical anti-fungal ointment like Clotrimazole.
4. Topical steroids & antibiotics can also be used to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
5. Wear loose fitting clothes.
6. Maintain adequate hydration & nutrition status and avoid stress.
If symptoms still persist, kindly visit a Dermatologist & get a proper clinical examination done.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
