It is usual to have such symptoms post viral illness which called Post viral syndrome complex. These symptoms cannot be explained properly.
I suggest you the following
1) No hot water baths, only tap water temperature
2) Apply moisturizer immediately after shower without drying with towel
3) If you have intense itch and needs scratching use Calamine lotion over the area.
These symptoms will last 3 days to one week.
