What Causes Severe Left Abdominal Pain?

So I had an upper endoscopy(gastrsocopy) about 2 months ago now and about a week after it whilst at work randomly a a heavy achey type pain in my uper left abodmen came on out of nowhere I have attached a picture of exactly where. Ever since then it has been dull ache type of pain in the same spot. When it first occurred at work I was leaning back and had my arms in the air holding my camera up as high as I could to get a shot at a music festival as I do videography work I was also a bit dehytrated at the time as well. But what are the chances that it could be some type of peforation/brusing from the gastrocopy or a injury to the muslce from working if so how long would it take to heal? I've had a ultrasound which didn't show anything and my doc doesnt want to do a CT scan because of the radiation and my age. What else can I do would a physio help?
Possibly Muscle strain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM
The complications of gastroscopy will not show up this late after the procedure. Perforation following endoscopy will present acutely with chest pain, dizziness, etc. Since you had a normal abdominal ultrasound, the likely possibility is muscle strain. Muscle strain will subside in about 2 weeks with adequate rest.
Another possibility that can contribute to such pain is the presence of excess bowel gas. Make sure that you never go hungry. Eat small frequent meals. Avoid carbonated drinks.
If the pain is bothersome, you can take Tylenol for pain relief.

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
If you were on Nexium before, it is worth restarting the Nexium. You can start with the lowest dose ie, 20 mg once daily.
Also, follow the recommendations I had mentioned in above discussion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
I have gone through your question and seen the attached pictures.
It is very difficult to differentiate tick bite from other insect bites at the initial stage, especially since you actually did not notice the tick. Moreover, tick has to remain latched for 36 hours to actually transmit lyme disease. So most cases of tick bite will not cause the disease.
The black mark on the bite site can either be due to the bite itself or the head of the tick embedded in the skin.Either way do not squeeze or pinch the area. Any left over tick body parts will be expelled naturally in 4-5 days.
You can make a marking around the bite site and monitor for next 36 hours. If you notice increasing size of rash ,development of bull's eye rash, then tick bite and lyme transmission is highly likely and antibiotics can be initiated. If the rash remains the same or decrease in next 36 hours, then nothing more need to be done. The bite site do not seem to be infected. You just need to keep the area clean and dry.
The rash in your arm is not indicative of cellulitis. The rash appears to be some kind of skin irritation, likely to be due to contact with any irritant bushes or leaves while hiking.
You can apply calamine lotion if itching or irritation develops at the bite site or the area of rash on arm.
Hope this answers your questions
