Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
I read carefully your question and understand your concern.
In order to give a more accurate question I would need some more information.
1) How old is your daughter?
2) When did this started and how have been the cycles of recurrence-how long, pain intensity?
3) Does the pain radiate? Can you explain more in details the location of the pain, the type of it, what makes it worse and what better?
4) Any trauma, any surgery there, bowel movement problems, urinary problems?
5) Have she tried any medication? Have she done any X-ray or other labs?
Please, kindly answer those questions and I will be happy to answer.
Regards,
Dr. Papaqako

He said from an xray that her back is straighter then normal. It usally starts from sitting to long. The pain is localized by the tail bone. Laying down or sitting to standing worsens the pain. Ice and alve helps it. it Usually takes a few days to feel better.
Posture/muscular pain due to the lack of physiological curve of spine
Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear,
Thank you for asking a follow-up question.
Having a straight back is one of the most common causes of low back pain, and then if your daughter's doctor has confirmed it, its what it should be.
In that case, some advises to keep in mind is:
-- Put a rolled small pillow in the lower back to provide support for the back and to remind of the posture, and the arch that its not that flexible like in other people which makes your daughter more prone to developing the pain.
-- Continue using Ice and whatever else that helps. But also pain killers may help. Using them regularly for 2 weeks, 1 tablet of Iburpofen 400, 3 times/day, will help to reduce the inflammation in the tissues as well. So my recommendation would be to use a pain killer regularly for 2 weeks, if she doesn't have stomach problems.
-- Physiotherapy to strengthen the muscles that keep the spine in the physiologic position and very helpful. If she sees a physio, would start for sure getting less rare with the pain.
These pretty much the first steps to get done.
Let me know if you need more clarifications. I would be happy to answer.
Take care.
