The first day if my last mense was July 19. It lasted 6 days. I've had at least 2 menses that were 40-45 days. A few have been 33-39 days. The others have been 20-32 days. I have also gained quite a bit of weight.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
This indicates a possibility of PCOS more with accompanied weight gain. Along with thyroid profile you must get a PCOS profile and an ultrasound pelvis also done to look for polycystic ovaries.

My doctor also said that because of my medical history from birth because I almost died that most likely I and/or my future children would suffer complications and such or it's possible that I could be infertile. Is this likely? She says it also sounds like I'm allergic to all condoms since I have bled after condom use. Both my partner and I are free of STDs/STIs.

Hello,
As there are no std/STIs at present and that you have been menstruating , even though irregularly, it indicates that you are ovulating. So a poor medical history at your birth shouldn't affect your fertility unless there has been an organic cause to it of hormonal derangements. You need to hence get a hormonal profile and ultrasound pelvis to check for uterine integrity and presence of follicles in the ovary ( developing dominant follicle or multiple subcenterimetric follicles as in PCOS).
Pcos , hyporthyroidism and hyperprolactinemia can cause irregularity in menses and potential infertility but these are correctable causes.
Bleeding post intercourse is usually indicative of cervicitis and should be investigated with a per speculum examination and a pap smear and may require a course of antibiotics as well.
