What Causes Severe Muscle And Joint Problems Along With Pain?
Question: I've been having severe muscle and joint problems for 5 years. I've seen a rheumatologist, lung doctor, and endocrinologist. Tests: x-ray, ct scan's, MRI, bone scan, various blood test. Then 1 1/2 years ago I had a tick burrowed under my skin and removed. Lyme Disease test was negative. Muscle and bone pain increased. More negative Lyme tests, then a positive one. Had 28 day anti-biotic medication. Got laid off my job, pain was at same level, but now have returned to a substitute custodial position full-time. Worked one week and I feel crippled. Weight loss was 178 one year ago and now 162. I'm 6'2". What doctors/tests can you recommend?
