What Causes Severe Nausea And Vomiting After Alcohol Consumption?

Information
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
By holidays, do you mean in December/January? Or something more recent?
Regardless, I strongly advise that you go in to an urgent care clinic tonight to be evaluated. With continued vomiting, you may be dehydrated, and also may have an electrolyte imbalance from the vomiting. In the urgent care, they can do an exam, access for dehydration, check your blood for signs of infection (via a CBC) and for potassium depletion and glucose level abnormalities (via a chemistry panel blood test); and can correct these with an IV with electrolytes. They can also give you an anti-emetic.
Given that it sounds as though this followed binge drinking, it's also possible that there could be some alcoholic hepatitis, which should be checked with a liver panel blood test.
There is also gastroenteritis ("stomach flu") going around in communities in the US, and so this could be related to that, but the treatment will be the same as I described above.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
