What Causes Severe Pain In Forearm?

Question: Ive signed up alresdy, # HCM119094, i was speaking with another dr earlier, ive tryed 5 times to respond to his responce, ive been in the hospital twice in the last month, first i was dehydrated, potasdium 2.1, then i had sepsis, then sonething else, nothing was reallt diagnoised, my main issue is this awful pain in my forearm,

It can be thrombophlebitis of the forearm

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case.Most common cause of pain in forearm after ICU stay is due to injections in veins. This causes pain and swelling in forearm.
Other common cause can be muscle or nerve compression.
I would suggest you following.
1. It will be best if you can send me image of the forearm.
2. Thrombofobe ointment should be applied along with hot water fomentation.
3. Avoid doing any heavy work with that side.
4. Tablet Brufen 400 mg twice daily.
