Brief Answer:
sounds like osteoarthritis/inflammation`

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
It sounds like you have developed some osteoarthritis in the knees. Anti-inflammatories can work short term but you need something more to get at the problem. At some point you need to see a doctor about xrays of the knees and you may need an MRI.
I also see in a prior note that you have hepatitis C. This can also cause arthritis. Here are some suggestions to help with your knees.
Use knee pads whenever you will need to be on your knees. Use warm compresses or warm soaks in a tub at night to help with muscle spasms around the knees.
Take glucosamine 1500 mg daily. This can take up to a month to help but it can assist with building back up the cartilage in the knees. Drink plenty of water. Getting even slightly dehydrated can make joint pains worse. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as they can add to dehydration.
Take a fish oil supplement daily to help decrease inflammation.
Get treatment for the Hep C if possible.
Consider joint injections if all of this fails by seeing an orthopedic specialist.
I hope you get some relief soon.
