Brief Answer:
Please consult neurologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such pain is rather caused by nerve compression. It can be compressed in the spine due to spine disc herniation or in the pelvis due to muscle compression. In both cases, when yous seat the compression is more intense and so is when you do not walk.
Nerve usually gives burning like feeling or tingling. The pain can be worse during the night.

I suggest you to consult neurologist with it. Spine MRI and EMG test should be considered.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
